I’m a freelance designer from Estonia – a small country you’ve probably heard of mostly for its digital governance and black rye bread.
Growing up, I was always the one carrying a pencil and a sketchbook. That has stayed with me ever since. My journey as a designer started in 2021, when I decided to transition from a sales career. I went to study Visual Communications in Estonian Academy of Arts.
Early on, I made a deliberate choice to experience different environments and disciplines, to get a grasp of how design functions differently depending on who’s asking for it and why.
Today, I feel fortunate to have worked with 20+ clients, and experienced agency and in-house environments.

Approach
My general approach is to understand first, then create. I see visual communication as a form of problem solving, which is why I start by grasping the context before making content. I also try to maintain a light-hearted approach, since taking it too seriously can suppress the creative intuitiveness.
Attitude
I believe that goodwill and integrity goes a long way. Let’s not cut corners or try to find an easy way out. Even seemingly small decisions can shape how a message is perceived, which is why I am willing to put in the extra effort, if needed.
Experience
I hold a degree in Visual Communications, and have approximately four years of professional experience in design, across agency, in-house and freelance projects. Freelancing has been particularly valuable, allowing me to be involved in projects from start to finish.
